XLPE絶縁電線の場合、PEの分子をライナー構造から三次元網目構造（すなわち熱可塑性PE）に変換するために、化学的方法または物理的方法のいずれかを使用し、熱硬化性XLPEに変換した。架橋後、優れた電気特性は依然として維持されているが、機械的性能、加熱老化特性および周囲応力に対する耐性が大幅に改善されている。
3種類の技術（過酸化物、温水、放射線架橋）で難燃性および非難燃性のXLPEケーブルを製造できます。難燃性ケーブルは、あらゆる種類の低煙性低ハロゲン低煙ハロゲンフリー、および非煙非ハロゲンおよびA、B、Cの3つのクラスをカバーしています。
ケーブル導体の最高定格温度は90℃です
ケーブル導体の最大短絡温度≤250℃
敷設時の温度≧0℃、ケーブルの最小曲げ径は、次のように規定されています。
シングルコアケーブルの場合：20（D + d）±5％（mm）
マルチコアケーブルの場合：15（D + d）±5％mm

YJV32	Copper (Al) thin steel wire armored XLPE insulation PVC sheath power cable	Laid indoor, tunnel or mines. Cable can bear outer mechanical force and fairly large traction force.
YJV42	Copper (Al) thick steel wire armored XLPE insulation PVC sheath power cable	Can be laid in vertical section, indoor, tunnels or mines. Cable can bear outer mechanical force and very large traction force.
